Speak

First one is just a bunch of sketches I did through out the day some of people I work with, mostly, just trying out a new profile style.
The second one I'm gonna let speak for it's self :P I have no idea what's up with the ogre.. he just kinda popped up outta no where...
Third one, I've been working on, off and on all day. I LOVE the expressions on all of them. The bald guy kinda looks like someone I know.. but it was purely accidental I assure you. :P

Thin Air

So the tiger, I snagged from a photo a friend took at while at the Portland Zoo. Go check out this link to see her blog. She's hilarious. :P

The girl I kinda pulled outta thin air. I did it while sitting with my daughter this afternoon. She didn't want to nap, and so I had to sit in the room while she fell asleep. :P Anyway, I was really happy with how it turned out, so I wanted to share it with you!

Super

I was feeling kinda lazy, and not liking the way I draw arms, so I spent yesterday during my lunch break watching the Starbucks gal at my Target hand out coffee. :P

I'm "super" happy with how this guy turned out. Funny story, but the guy I used as a model for this is the son of a friend of mine, and in the picture his whole family is laying at his feet watching TV, but to me it looked like he'd just finished a glorious battle! Thus Ballcap Man was born! :P I think I made his torso too wide, but I got the over all stance down.

Eyeballs

I never was very good at drawing eyes, ad to this day I'd have to say it's still not my strong suit, but I've spent the last few days working on them, and I'm happy with my progress.

Googleing

Okay so the frog I got from a How to draw Chibi book... and yes, in Japan frog say "Kero, kero" not "Ribbit, ribbit." I like him, I think he might be a prince. Any one wanna volunteer to find out :P

The gal, is a character concept I'm working on. Her eye is bugging me. I actually worked on her today as well as yesterday... but... over all I'm happy..

The eyes, well that ties back into the gal. I couldn't get the eyes to look right, and I spent a hour on my computer googleing different ways to draw eyes in profile. *whew*

A Disturbing Trend

This is becoming a disturbing trend... letting it go three days before I post  my work, but I AM still doing them, and that's what counts. :P

1: This is a guy I work with, he has a superhero chin (not that you could tell from my drawing)... seriously, and was patient enough to let me draw him. . :P
2: So this guy woke me up at 2 am.. no joke. I remember seeing the eyes in my sleep, and I got up, sat down in the office, and 20 minutes later this guy was born.. O_O
3: Just a study from my How to draw Manga Chibi book, I haven't picked it up in a while I'd forgotten about all the good stuff in there! :P
