Calligraphy

Yes, this counts. It's part of the documents I'm working on for the Lord Admiral, and *crossing fingers* hopefully, with his permission, when It's finished I can shared it with you all.


Since I realized AFTER I wrote it.. that it wasn't big enough to read, it says :
"On this day I learned enough calligraphy...hopefully... to do something cool with the knowledge. Ugh I might have to use a ruler."

Tangled

So we got the movie "Tangled" and my daughter loves it... okay.. okay.. I love it. what can I say, I love Disney movies. :P Anywho, I got the idea for todays sketch from the symbol of the Rapunzel's kingdom. Though I did change it up a bit. I thought it would make a fun tattoo, but since I'm a big sissy I'll never do it :P

Time Flies

Some days it seems like time flies.. I mean.. I look at the clock at 2pm when I clock on for work, and next thing I know, I'm clocking off for the day and it's 9:45pm O_o Thus the clock... :P

Cherry Tree

Spring is here, and that means cherry blossoms! I love the way they make "snow" in the breeze. There's a bunch outside the cafe' where I work. So today I drew one of them. It didn't turn out half as pretty as the actuall tree, but I'm a work in progress right?

Bearnuts

So today I used a comic I read ( Bearnutscomic.com ) as inspiration. It's hilarious, and just wonderful in so many ways. I loved the expression in todays update so *Shrug* I drew it. I think it came out pretty good for less that 20 minutes worth of work. :P

Hundred

I know... I've been doing alot of these lately. It's for a good cause... well.. not not really, but it will make it easier later on when I try to do my scribe projects... later... I'm pretty proud of most of them! :P


Also I realized that yesterday was my hundredth post.. (not hundredth day I've posted more than once on several days.) that should have been more monumental.. Oh well. Maybe I'll do something special for the hundredth post.. hmmm.. only 9 days left!

Portlandia

More Filigree. I'm actually doing double duty tonight, I thought I would work on another project that been commissioned by the Lord Admiral of the Pirates of Portlandia as my drawing of the night. This is what I came up with to start. I'll post more as it gets more fleshed out.

I wanted to get  my drawing done BEFORE work today, and so I did... :P I decided to use a pen, partially because I couldn't find a pencil, but ultimately it became a exercise in really thinking about where I place the lines. Hopefully this will teach me to think more about what I'm drawing BEFORE I draw it. *shrug*
